THE FLOTILLA DOCKS AT THE LIDO FLYING THE PALESTINIAN FLAG
MONDAY, 7 SEPTEMBER, 4:30 PM — ISOLA EDIPO, RIVA DI CORINTO, VENICE LIDO
Arrival of the Flotilla boat at the Lido and joint press conference with V4P, the Flotilla and Morion
Venice4Palestine, together with the Global Sumud Flotilla and Morion Laboratorio Occupato, with the support of Isola Edipo and Artists for Palestine Italia, invite everyone to welcome the boat, alongside figures from the film and cultural industries who have spoken out in support of the Palestinian people and who, while attending the Venice Film Festival, are able to take time away from their professional commitments to join us.
During the press conference, Flotilla activists will announce the new missions they are preparing to undertake in October, while representatives of the Venice4Palestine collective will provide further details about the panel on cultural complicity taking place the following day at Casa degli Autori at 5:30 PM.
Most importantly, the Palestinian flag will be raised aboard the boat to honour the filmmakers behind the Palestinian films presented at this year’s Venice Film Festival.
The Palestinian flag will fly at the Venice Lido!
